How do I start planning my safari?
Send us an e-mail at info@safari-infinity.com or safari.infinity@gmail.com and we can start to plan your trip of a lifetime!
Once you contact us we can begin tailoring your day-by-day safari schedule. From the moment you start planning your trip with us our Safari and Mountain specialists are available to answer any questions you may have.
We can plan your trip together over e-mail, Skype (ID: Safariinfinity) or via Phone call. You can let us know what is the most convenient and easy way for you, and we can contact you with your preferred method of communication!
Can I customize my safari experience?
We take your travel preference into consideration, and personalize any itineraries you would like. Whether you plan to combine a Safari trip with a Mountain Expedition, add a Chimpanzee Trek in the Mahale Mountains, or even end your trip on the pristine white-sand beaches of Zanzibar — we can make it happen. From a luxury mobile tent in the bush to a beautiful lodge overlooking a breathtaking view of the Serengeti plains, we have an option that best suits you.
You can also select a trip that is the best fit for you in our Special Itineraries, which can be further customized to your time of travel, preferred accommodation and any activities (see Safari Add-ons for more information).
One thing to keep in mind is that it takes time to plan your perfect trip, and as long as you have an early start, there is no need to rush it. We are able to take time to really listen to your needs and preference in order to create an itinerary that will give you an experience of a lifetime!
How much time do I need to plan my safari?
We typically recommend a minimum of 2 months notice for safaris, mostly due to accommodation availability. During the high-peak season, July to September, we recommend planning at least 8 months to one year ahead. Prime locations, like the Central and Northern Serengeti, will likely have limited space and accommodation, especially if you are traveling in a group of more than 6 people.
Here is a basic guideline of how much time is needed:
January-February: 6 months to 12 months prior to travel date
March, April, May, November: 2 months prior to travel date
June, October: 6 months to 12 months prior to travel date
July, August, September: 8 months to 12 months or longer prior to travel date
See here for our Recommended Seasonal Itineraries based on your time of travel.
Are last minute bookings an option?
Last-minute bookings are not recommended but can sometimes be arranged with our team’s expertise, dedication, and of course, with a bit of luck!
What happens after my safari is booked?
In order to prepare you, we would be sending you a comprehensive preparation package via e-mail with advice for your trip and a packing list. Depending on the package that you book, you will be receiving a package that is specifically tailored to your trip (e.g. If you book a Safari & Mt Kilimanjaro Trek, we will be sending you a Preparation Package for each of these portions, as well as a packing list for each).
A few weeks prior to your arrival, we will send you details about your guide, and a friendly reminder to confirm your flight details with us.
We understand that for most guests, from the time they book their safari to their actual departure date, there is a long waiting period and they will undoubtedly have more questions along the way! Our Safari Specialists will be here to assist with any additional questions our guests may have regarding their safari, Kilimanjaro or Meru treks, or their time in Zanzibar.
You can also find out more information about your upcoming trip on our comprehensive FAQ page, categorized into General FAQ, Safari FAQ, Mountain FAQ as well as Zanzibar FAQ!
We will be here to make sure that you are fully prepared to embark on your exciting journey to Tanzania!
