Itinerary

Day 1, Karibu, Welcome to Tanzania!

After a series of transit and flights, you are finally here in Tanzania, and you will soon find out that the long trip was well worth it. Your safari guide will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Have a good night’s rest before your early start tomorrow morning.

Day 2 - 3 , Tarangire

After breakfast, we start the day by venturing into the open acacia woodland of Tarangire National Park, dotted with majestic baobabs alongside the most magnificent herds of African elephants found in Northern Tanzania. Often compared to Serengeti as its rival, this park boasts of an impressive count of wildlife, a dream setting for photographers with its iconic baobab trees and savannah grasslands.

Day 4 , Lake Manyara

In the morning, travel to Lake Manyara National Park. Its intricate patchwork of complex bio networks includes the groundwater forest, acacia woodlands, grassy floodplains and the lake itself. The Great Rift Valley itself is an immense rupture in the earth’s surface, splitting the landscape along a fault some 6500 kilometres all the way from the Red Sea to the Zambezi; it is one of the earth’s few geological features that can be seen from the moon.

Day 5 - 7, Central Serengeti

Travel to the famous Seronera Valley in Central Serengeti and spend the next few days exploring the endless plains of Serengeti. With a network of river valleys supplying a stable source of water, the Seronera Valley is home to the world’s largest and diverse wildlife population of predators in the world.

Day 8 See them Roar!

Exciting encounters are available year-round regardless of the season or the location of the great migration. There is simply no better place to observe large carnivores (lion, hyena, cheetah and leopard) in action. In the afternoon, travel to Ngorongoro and embark on a walking safari at the Crater’s rim.

Day 9 , Ngorongoro Crater

Depart your lodging by 6:00am, head to the Crater Floor and be one of the first vehicles on the ground. You will descend into the crater through a lush highland forest, with magnificent birdlife to be spotted among the different tree species. Once on the grassy crater floor, you may discover a large variety of grazing herbivores, as well as the predators that are attracted by this abundant supply of prey. In the afternoon, embark on a scenic walking safari at the Crater’s rim through the acacia woodlands, thick lush forests and open grasslands.

Day 10 - 12, Zanzibar, Beach

After breakfast, embark on an early morning game drive on your way to the airstrip. Fly to Zanzibar via Arusha. Say goodbye to your expert safari guide who has been there for you every step of your journey. Upon exiting the airport, a representative will greet you. After a short introduction, private transfer to the coast of the island (1.5h), which boasts Zanzibar’s most spectacular white-sand beaches. Settle in your elegant beach resort and relax for the next few days.

Day 13, Zanzibar, Stone Town

After breakfast, travel to Stone Town. Drop-off your luggage at your hotel and embark on a historical and cultural tour of Stone Town. This private tour takes you through fabled Stone Town, where history appears to stand still. Journey through Zanzibar’s bustling market, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors, beautiful cathedrals and ancient mosques. Afterwards, enjoy some free-leisure time in Stone Town.
