This past July, we had a lovely couple from NYC (a lot of New Yorkers!), who’s been planning their 22 days long Honeymoon in Tanzania. We were so excited while planning Danny & Erica’s itinerary, as theirs covers not only the famous & well known parks in the Northern Circuit in Tanzania (e.g. the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater), but also the less-traveled, nevertheless beautiful & wilder parks int the South, such as Selous Game Reserves, Ruaha, oh, and also a stop in Mahale to see the chimps 🙂 Their honeymoon trip in Tanzania also concluded with a few nights stay on the East Coast of Unguja island, Zanzibar. An amazing itinerary that really allowed one to have an authentic & memorable taste of Tanzania.
After meeting D&E in Arusha after the end of their safari, they told me that they thoroughly enjoyed Mahale National Park, and Kungwe Beach Lodge, where they stayed in Mahale, was one of their top favorites!
Now this is a very, very rare capture during the daytime: African Pangolin, a strictly nocturnal animal.
