Kathy & Rebecca in TZ!

This past June, we had two wonderful (!) company in Tanzania: Mama Kathy & Rebecca all the way from New Jersey, USA!

We started communicating in March, about 3 & 1/2 months before the start of their safari. It was easy to see what a passionate, thoughtful & caring individual she was from the beginning, as she inquired not only about our safaris, but also about what to bring for her driver guide as gifts to him and his family. Prior to their safari, Kathy & Rebecca were volunteering at Foot2Afrika, spending most of their days teaching or volunteering at a local orphanage. TANZANIAN WEDDING

We first picked up Kathy & Rebecca a day before their safari, for a family wedding that we attended in Moshi. Knowing Kathy to be extremely curious about local culture, we thought it’d be a good move to invite her & Rebecca to come along, as our special “Muzungu” (Foreigner) guests.

Allow me to introduce Flat Hope, she is a picture of Kathy’s daughter dog, which Kathy & Rebecca brought all the way over to Tanzania so Flat Hope could be “included” in all of their unforgettable adventures! And yes.. she even made it to the safari…. 🙂
