In April, we had quite a few groups who thoroughly enjoyed their safari in the “GREEN SEASON”. April is often labeled as the rainy season, so for a large number of tourists, they would prefer to travel when it’s “nice and sunny”. However, what most people don’t know is that April/Green Season is a fantastic time to go on game drives. It is not dusty, for one… secondly, you will most likely have the park to yourselves in the majority of the time! Though April falls within the rainy season, it is important to note that “rain” in Tanzania doesn’t occur from morning until evening, neither is it “heavy”. Most the days, you will experience light showers in the morning and evening, and most of the time during the day it will be clear. What a great time to go on a safari!
You can read more about the different Safari Seasons on our website here:
Helene, Rene, Peggy & Bill were one of our client groups who chose April to go on a safari. They had a 12 fantastic safari days, spent in Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ndutu, Central Serengeti & Ngorongoro. Now, what we have below here is just a very small selection of the many breathtaking pictures captured by Helene & Rene…. We will upload them on a separate thread later on.
Enjoy!
